Each week the Career Services team will highlight new or unusual opportunities in for undergraduates, graduate students and alumni. This edition features picks from Autumn Weyant ’20 & Sher Gill ’21, two students who assist our employer outreach team to expand recruiting opportunities for Princeton students.

This week’s picks were put together to show you the wide and varied options Handshake offers in terms of careers and internships if you take the time to look. Some huge and exciting companies post jobs specifically recruiting Princeton students and many times these get overlooked. Check out our list and see everything that Handshake has to offer.

  • CityBridge Education: Fellowship
    This is a year-long paid fellowship geared towards graduating seniors with a great interest in education. CityBridge Education works towards advancing equity and opportunity for all children by working to open more innovative schools to push the boundary of what schools offer. Be involved in this process from start to finish and gain invaluable experience in urban education. DEADLINE APPROACHING – March 5. This organization was founded by Princeton trustee who extended the application deadline.
  • Galvan London: Studio Administrator
    Calling all fashion-loving seniors! Galvan is a luxury design clothing label made famous by a multitude of high-profile celebrities on the red carpet. This upcoming spring, Galvan will be expanding their London-based company and opening up a space in New York. Founded in part by a Princeton alumni, this opportunity is incredible for students who are on track to graduate soon and looking to get their foot int he door in luxury brands.
  • The Raptor Trust: Avian Care Intern
    Have a passion for wildlife and the caring for all things in the great outdoors? This company is working to help the large quantity birds that are injured, displaced or orphaned during the warmer months. In this internship, you’ll get to work directly with these animals to help raises, rehabilitate and ultimately released them back into the wild.
  • Hyundai America Technical Center: Powertrain Vehicle Emission Lab Intern
    In this paid internship you will support the development and testing of powertrain vehicles through emissions testing and an open track. Geared towards our BSE juniors and seniors, they are looking for a student with experience in software development to create tools to automate and approve efficiency of engine calibration along with helping to trouble shoot a variety of software programs already in use.
  • Citizens Campaign for the Environment: Environmental Advocacy Internship
    If you are serious about going green, this internship is absolutely perfect. Organize local grassroots campaigns to protect public health, and build environmentally and economically resilient communities in Central New York, and get paid to do it! You’ll also receive extensive training and support as you work together to educate and raise awareness for environmental issues.
  • Bristol-Myers Squibb: Product Development Summer Intern
    Interested in medicine and pharmaceutical companies? This position offers a comprehensive overview as you work with everything from the early research of new products to manufacturing packaging and marketing in a 10-week paid internship.
