  • D. E. Shaw & Co.: Generalist
    D. E. Shaw & Co. is looking for someone to fill their generalist position. Generalists are effective communicators and critical thinkers who take a highly analytical approach to solving problems. They excel at managing multiple projects and are motivated by a strong desire to learn and an interest in taking on new challenges. Applicants don’t need to have any finance knowledge or experience, and don’t need to come from a STEM background. If you are interested in this position, you have a month to apply. The application deadline is April 30.
  • College Bound: College Preparation Coach
    College Bound is a company whose mission is to help underserved high school students gain admission to and graduate from a four year college. Since the company’s founding in 2006, College Bound has succeeded in helping 99.9% of their students earn admission to a four-year college while helping them graduate at five times the rate of their peers. They are currently looking for someone to serve as a college preparation coach. Coaches work directly with high-school students in St. Louis, Missouri to support them in gaining access to college. The application deadline is April 27.
  • Wolfram: Academic Account Executive
    Wolfram is one of the world’s most respected software companies, pioneering in computational and technical science. They are looking for someone with a technical background and minimal sales experience to fill their academic account executive role. This work offers fulfillment, challenges to think creatively, and the ability to make money based on the amount and quality of work you put in. Applications are due by May 31.
  • Urban Institute: Research Assistant (Center on Labor, Human Services, and Population)
    Urban Institute is a nonprofit research organization located in Washington, D.C. They are seeking someone with an interest in economic and social welfare policy and experience with quantitative research methods. Applications are due on April 27.
  • 1stAveMachine: Creative Development Team Member
    1stAveMachine creates video, digital, and experimental content for TV, print, web, and mobile, as well as experimental events. They are looking for a creative team member to support their roster of award-winning directors and four executive producers in pitching on commercial projects. The application deadline is May 4.
  • Philips North America: Digital Marketing Analyst
    Philips is a leading health technology company focused on improving people’s health and enabling better outcomes across the health continuum from healthy living and prevention, to diagnosis, treatment and home care. This role will play a key part in developing a deep understanding of the data in order to lead and inform critical thinking and insight mining that will generate meaningful and profitable business growth.
