  • D. E. Shaw & Co.: Generalist
    D. E. Shaw & Co. is looking for someone to fill their generalist position. Generalists are effective communicators and critical thinkers who take a highly analytical approach to solving problems. They excel at managing multiple projects and are motivated by a strong desire to learn and an interest in taking on new challenges. Applicants don’t need to have any finance knowledge or experience, and don’t need to come from a STEM background. If you are interested in this position, you have a month to apply. The application deadline is April 30.
  • College Bound: College Preparation Coach
    College Bound is a company whose mission is to help underserved high school students gain admission to and graduate from a four year college. Since the company’s founding in 2006, College Bound has succeeded in helping 99.9% of their students earn admission to a four-year college while helping them graduate at five times the rate of their peers. They are currently looking for someone to serve as a college preparation coach. Coaches work directly with high-school students in St. Louis, Missouri to support them in gaining access to college. The application deadline is April 27.
  • Wolfram: Academic Account Executive
    Wolfram is one of the world’s most respected software companies, pioneering in computational and technical science. They are looking for someone with a technical background and minimal sales experience to fill their academic account executive role. This work offers fulfillment, challenges to think creatively, and the ability to make money based on the amount and quality of work you put in. Applications are due by May 31.
  • Urban Institute: Research Assistant (Center on Labor, Human Services, and Population)
    Urban Institute is a nonprofit research organization located in Washington, D.C. They are seeking someone with an interest in economic and social welfare policy and experience with quantitative research methods. Applications are due on April 27.
  • 1stAveMachine: Creative Development Team Member
    1stAveMachine creates video, digital, and experimental content for TV, print, web, and mobile, as well as experimental events. They are looking for a creative team member to support their roster of award-winning directors and four executive producers in pitching on commercial projects. The application deadline is May 4.
  • Philips North America: Digital Marketing Analyst
    Philips is a leading health technology company focused on improving people’s health and enabling better outcomes across the health continuum from healthy living and prevention, to diagnosis, treatment and home care. This role will play a key part in developing a deep understanding of the data in order to lead and inform critical thinking and insight mining that will generate meaningful and profitable business growth.   • HarperCollins: Editorial Services Summer Internship
    Calling all the English majors or people interested in going into publishing: In this paid summer internship, you’ll spend your time learning the ins and outs of what it takes to get published.   • Princeton-Blairstown Center: Summer Literacy Instructor/Facilitator
    If you’re still on the search for a summer internship, the Princeton-Blairstown Center offers the perfect position for everyone. Get paid plus free training, housing and board as you help run a summer camp educational curriculum but also fun outdoor activities. The studio administrator will oversee general maintenance and operations of the Galvan Studio in SoHo, New York.
  • Merantix: Machine Intelligence Engineer
    Merantix transforms how organizations operate by building products that apply machine intelligence to their enterprise datasets. They are currently looking for seniors who can research and prototype deep-learning models, design pipelines for terabyte-scale data, and can build and analyze products to uncover scalable businesses.

    This is a year-long paid fellowship geared towards graduating seniors with a great interest in education. CityBridge Education works towards advancing equity and opportunity for all children by working to open more innovative schools to push the boundary of what schools offer. Be involved in this process from start to finish and gain invaluable experience in urban education. DEADLINE APPROACHING – March 5. This organization was founded by Princeton trustee who extended the application deadline.
  • Galvan London: Studio Administrator
    Calling all fashion-loving seniors! Galvan is a luxury design clothing label made famous by a multitude of high-profile celebrities on the red carpet. This upcoming spring, Galvan will be expanding their London-based company and opening up a space in New York. Founded in part by a Princeton alumni, this opportunity is incredible for students who are on track to graduate soon and looking to get their foot int he door in luxury brands.
  • The Raptor Trust: Avian Care Intern
    Have a passion for wildlife and the caring for all things in the great outdoors? This company is working to help the large quantity birds that are injured, displaced or orphaned during the warmer months. In this internship, you’ll get to work directly with these animals to help raises, rehabilitate and ultimately released them back into the wild.
  • Hyundai America Technical Center: Powertrain Vehicle Emission Lab Intern
    In this paid internship you will support the development and testing of powertrain vehicles through emissions testing and an open track. Geared towards our BSE juniors and seniors, they are looking for a student with experience in software development to create tools to automate and approve efficiency of engine calibration along with helping to trouble shoot a variety of software programs already in use.

  • Urban Institute: Research Intern (Center on Nonprofits & Philanthropy)
    Urban Institute is a company with a mission to use evidence from their research to shape major decisions and offer solutions to a large variety of a big picture problems. Not only is this internship paid, they also emphasize that this is a fulfilling position in which your contributions will actually help the organization in furthering it’s long term goals by performing research into trends in nonprofits & philanthropy. They also offer a similar internship focused on Income and Benefits Policy. This internship also provides opportunities for networking and mentorship.
  • Princeton University Office of Government Affairs: Legislative Intern
    If you have an interest in education policy, this internship is perfect! Spend the summer in D.C. working in Princeton’s own Office of Government Affairs. Their goals are to advocate for research and financial aid funding and working to make an impact on tax policy, immigration policy and higher education policy.
  • Friends Committee on National Legislation: Summer Intern
    This is the internship for students who are looking to get experience in influencing lawmaking and policy issues. Interns will participate in lobbying, organizing and policy events through a variety of tasks and responsibilities – and get paid to do it. The FCNL will offer you a broad introduction to federal policy, grassroots organizing, and nonprofit management.
  • Democratic National Committee: Design Internship
    Have a passion for politics and a love for art and graphic design? In this internship, students will work towards promoting the goals of the Demographic National Committee through design.
  • No Labels: Research Intern
    No Labels is looking for an intern that has a strong desire to understand bipartisan U.S. policy and politics. Your main responsibilities will go beyond conducting research as you will have tasks varying from maintaining an updated donor network to helping the press team gather relevant clips.   • New York UniversitySpecial Assistant to the Justice Program Director at The Brennan Center for Justice
    The Brennan Center for Justice at the NYU School of Law is a nonpartisan law and policy institute that seeks to improve our systems of democracy and justice. This position works closely with the director, providing substantive and administrative support on all aspects of program management. Seniors should apply before March 1 deadline.
  • New York City’s Office of Contract Services: Analyst
    The Mayor’s Office of Contract Services oversees and supports the procurement activities of city agencies, with a goal to ensure fairness, transparency, efficiency and cost effectiveness. The employee’s main role will be to provide high-quality support for users of all City procurement systems. Seniors should apply before March 31 the deadline.
  • Congressional Budget Office: Assistant Analyst for Financial Analysis
    The Congressional Budget Office is a small nonpartisan agency that provides economic and budgetary analysis to the Congress. The assistant analyst will support the division’s financial modeling and research by gathering data from many sources, merging data into databases, conducting literature reviews and collaborating with economists on research and written reports. Applicants with more of a quantitative background (as shown by knowledge in statistical packages like Python, MATLAB, R, etc.) are strongly encouraged to apply before February 28, 2018.
